joyous rant

Takeo Spikes may soon be signing with the niners. making them the best LB Core in the NFC west. He will be along side the Monster that is Rookie Probowler Patrick Willis, who led the league in tackles in his Rookie season with 174 !!!

With a healthy Manny Lawson returning and a steady O-Line (hopefully should be backed up by the draft) a 9-7 Record and a playoff spot is very well in Reach. Hopefully with the NFC west crown.

The X-Factor would be how well Martz has has done with the rebuilding of Smith's Throwing mechanics, to where he becomes more efficient and accurate. Smith is smart enough to absorb Martz's system, which is a timing system. A major plus is his innate ability to move out and around the pocket to avoid pressure and still throw; a trait that wasn't found in Martz's previous QBs (Bulger, Kitna, Warner). A system that is engraved in Issac Bruce's mind, who will lead the receiving core - A core that realistically is just a bunch of #2 and #3 Receivers. Looking forward to the mix of trick plays that is common with the Martz system.

- More info to come (that was juss a joyous rant. lol)

2 Games before the Stretch Run

3 Games this week, the first two games are winnable games that we SHOULD win but after that there is a stretch of opponents that will give us problems. After the Clippers we have Houston, LA Lakers x2(Holy Crap...), Portland, Denver, Dallas, and then San Antonio. That is a stretch where we could easily lose EACH game and be out of the playoffs. But hopefully we can do it.

Warrior's Weekly W-L
@Sacramento Kings-110-101 W
@LA Clippers-108-95 W
Houston Rockets-89-98 L

At the End of this week and before the Laker back to back we will have a record of 43-25. Hopefully. Next Week will be interesting

Those are MY results of my fantasy baseball draft. I'll probably post a round by round analysis about the whole draft(Rounds 1-10) by tomorrow morning. But first thing first, most of the people in the draft were not drafting and were mostly auto picking. Still, I am satisfied with my draft and with it. There is a few picks where i reached and some i came up lucky with. But overall I am happy with my picks. =D

Haven't been here for a while

Whew. October was the last time I posted in here. That's such a long time. But now I'm going to post more frequently in here. Starting with this post which is a weekly feature on GSM; so I am going to steal it.

Just Three Games this week.

Warrior's Weekly W-L
Toronto Raptors-120-105
@Phoenix Suns-128-116
Memphis Grizzlies-115-107

It looks good to having a 3-0 week, we could have a perfect record last week if we did not slip up in Charlotte and let JRich go off on us for a 40+ night. This week's opponents are filled with some atrocious defenses around the league. Toronto is probably the best defense on the table for this week but they like to play fast up tempo basketball. We will hopefully shut them down but consider the game closer if Chris Bosh is back in the line up. He will have a field day on us.

Thursday Night we will be nationally televised on TNT(hey that means I can watch it at home) and we are going to be in the Valley of the Sun, going against the Big Catcus and crew. The suns with Shaq have been atrocious on defense but man did they got it going against San Antonio. Wait a minute...San Antonio plays at a pace slower than a snail. Expect it to be another fantastic up and down game, but we will prevail because Shaq is too slow.

And last but not least, the Memphis Grizzlies at home, one of the worst teams in the NBA. Now I feel a lot more confident in beating the Suns than beating the Grizzlies. It's like for some reason this year the Warriors like to play at the level of the opponents. We can hang with the likes of the Lakers, Jazz, and Suns. But man we hang with the likes of the Grizzlies, Knicks, and Heat sometimes. We need to blow Memphis out before anything happens just like what we did to Miami last week. But for me this look like a trap game, I sure hope not it isnt.

3-0 record for this week. We would be 42-23. Hopefully with that record we can be at least the 6 spot or something.

First Post: NLCS Preview.

Who woulda thunk it? The two worst teams in the NL West Last year have come along way this year and now face each other in the NLCS and a chance to represent the NL in the World Series. If something I would have expect either the Dodgers or the Padres come this far but the Diamondbacks or Rockies? Really could anyone expect or predicted this in the beginning of the year. I mean if you look at Diamondbacks roster there are no names that jump out of you or you can easily recognize. Also their strongest hitter is injured. So how did they get this far and beat the Chicago Cubs in the NLDS? Easy. Timely Hitting and great pitching. Probably the two things you need in the October to be effective. On the other side that's not what Colorado has, right now the are probably riding one of the most storied high streaks in Baseball. In the last 16 games they are 15-1 and three(you can count 4) as post season games. A lineup that has hitters galore and looks more like a AL team than a NL team.

So what is the prediction? I think sooner or later the Rockies will finally get off this euphoria and finally coming crashing down to earth and the Diamonbacks with their pitching will see a return trip to the World Series since Gonzo in 2001.

Diamondbacks in six.
